The time has come once again to hold our Annual General Meeting, and we would like to invite you and your partner to join us in the Waikato Trade Union Centre Hall for the AGM, followed by snacks and refreshments (provided by Platters That Matter) over a good ol’ catch up.
Please feel free to invite anyone else you think might be interested in our mahi!
6.30pm
Tuesday, June 11
34 Harwood Street, Hamilton
We are currently taking nominations for a new 2019/20 YWRC Committee. Anyone can nominate themselves by completing this here Google form, as long as they outline and talk about their reasons for wanting to be a part of YWRC governance, and what they can add to the melting pot.
A brand new YWRC Committee will be elected on the night of the AGM, and we’ll be joined by former Green Party of New Zealand MP, and expert on the community and voluntary sectors Catherine Delahunty.
Alongside all of that excitement, we’ll cover our requirements in hearing reports from the current Acting-Chairperson, the Treasurer, and management staff, as well as talking about where we’ve been, where we’re going, and how we plan to get there!
If you’re interested in what we do, or if you’ve been involved and what to catch up on what’s new… Head on over to our Facebook event and let us know you’ll be attending! (You can also RSVP by sending a quick email to [email protected])
We look forward to seeing you there!
